The Red Cow - Guest House, hotel in Richmond upon Thames

A short walk from the center of Richmond and train/Tube (subway) stations, the cozy, popular Red Cow is a restored inn offering home-cooked bar food and comfortable accommodations.

Staff was amazing, friendly and personable. The building itself was beautiful and historic. Everything was full of character and very fitting for the surrounding area. The breakfast was helpful and filling, as well as the tea facilities. The food downstairs was delicious and smelled tasty all evening. It never got too rowdy or loud downstairs. Even when people on the street were yelling it was more entertaining than anything. The surrounding area is charming and walkable and the nearby restaurants are also delicious and well priced. The inn was also conveniently located near the train station, which helps when its raining!

The Kings Arms, hotel in Richmond upon Thames

The Kings Arms Hotel is steeped in history and looking over Hampton Court Palace to one side and the Bushy Park on the other.

It was right by the gates of Hampton Court and we could see the maze right from the hotel. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed breakfast. I highly recommend that option. It’s just a short walk through the chestnut trees to the entrance of Hampton Court Palace.

The breakfast was wonderful. The room was adequate and clean, but could definitely use an update. The staff were nice. The location was alright, but not a lot of dining options nearby.

The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. We had a Ploughman's to share for dinner, there was plenty for two people. All the staff were eager to help. The location was lovely, it is near Teddington Lock.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa and pool were very nice for a swim in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. The location I think is a winner for this hotel, it’s at the top of Richmond Hill, and the views are breathtaking.
