After 42 years it was like stepping back in time with an amazing makeover! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially in light of the awful weather we left at the door!! Lifeboat Inn, hotel in St Ives

Set in St Ives and within 300 metres of Porthmeor Beach, Lifeboat Inn features a bar, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

The staff were lovely very welcoming and clearly liked their job. The place was always busy, we didn't eat so can't comment but the food looked insane. The room was stunning, the shower was a little dirty in the corners of the cubicle and the glasses on the wooden tray didn't have a nice smell to them it maybe the smell coming out of the old tray. All in all the stay was lovely and we'd come back.

Lovely location and very quaint. Great atmosphere in the bar; food and drink excellent. Breakfasts were delicious, everything cooked to perfection, excellent portions as well. On Friday they had a fish menu and we enjoyed the catch of the day!

Everything, especially the staff and the food. Daily room service and dog-free cleanliness excellent. We were delighted that the Harbour Inn only allows dogs in a limited number of bedrooms. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfasts outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is in a fabulous location as you would expect on the harbour. It was very comfortable and the staff were great especially Amy who checked us in and booked us in for breakfast (which was delicious) with lots of choice and was also there for dinner. We ate both nights, food was lovely with a good choice. Our first time in Porthleven, we wanted a base to explore the south and we liked the look of the place, took a chance and were not disappointed.

Harbour Inn was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at along our week-long trek of the South West Coast Path. We arrived just after 4pm and were quickly checked in and shown to our spacious hotel room on the second floor. We were also offered the option to book dinner which I'd highly recommend doing as we had a fantastic meal later in the night. Breakfast was amazing the next morning too. Our room was comfortable and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were so friendly.
