This wonderful old coaching inn is beautifully preserved and maintained. The staff gave us a really friendly and welcoming greeting before showing us to our room on the top floor. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for mooching about the pretty town of Abergavenny with its many cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. All the team members we met were friendly, helpful and full of hospitality. We didn’t want to leave - if only we’d booked another night!

Everything esp the staff and how excellent the service was and how clean it was loved our stay here
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Very clean and tastefully decorated room, soft pillows, comfy mattress and lovely white fluffy towels. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and good value, all the staff were helpful and friendly.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners on arrival who took us to our room and explained the history of the inn which was fascinating. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was exceptional, we had an evening meal and breakfast. We were in the twin room which was decorated to a very high standard with extremely comfortable beds, we had the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be staying here again.
Property very spacious and comfortable. Clean and easy to access! Great location, above pub that had friendly staff and great food! Fab roast dinner! Quiet as well, wouldn’t know you were above pub.
Good car park. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, the breakfast and dinner was great. There was no noise from the pub the whole place has been done up to a high standard we highly recommended this place.
Super friendly owner. Great accommodation. Although they don't serve food on a Sunday evening, they saved us 3 roast dinners so we could eat when we got there. Would definitely recommend this as somewhere to stay.
Charming Inn with an amazing chef and brilliant staff. I can't recommend this place enough when driving in Wales. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the pub has a lovely selection of beers and ciders and the food is really top notch.
Very quaint Inn at the back of some great biking trails and close to the Leisure centre and Ski Slope. Very friendly staff. In a quite location with good parking.
Absolutely everything. The views from the property were even better than in the photos. Sitting out in the Garden for dinner and breakfast, relaxing in the sun was exactly as desired. The property itself was to a very high spec, having everything we needed and more. Chatting with the owner Amanda was like meeting up with an old friend.
