Staff were all very welcoming and so helpful. Food was excellent - Sunday lunch and breakfast the following morning. We stayed in the James Penfold room, which was in the annexe. Beautifully presented, wonderful bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath and two wash handbasins. A very good place to stay and eat.

Lovely room, very cosy and nicely furnished. It looked like they had done the rooms up recently which is nice. Bed was a bit hard but then a lot of people really like a hard bed so probably just up to taste! There is a beautiful view by the restaurant. Dinner was lovely, they were very accommodating with us ordering just before the kitchens closed due to a late arrival. Breakfast was also very good however there was a very long wait for this, I think perhaps they were understaffed for the amount of people waiting.
