Very comfortable bed. Lovely hot shower. Only 3 minutes walk to ferry, and 10 minutes to station. Staff offered to carry our cases upstairs. The tavern is a really old traditional pub, but our bedroom and bathroom had all the latest fittings. The breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. We enjoyed watching the Morris dancers outside in the evening.

Great location within easy walking distance to both train and bus stations. A very old tavern full of atmosphere, wood and brass and nautically themed. Room was clean and bright with a sea view. Tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk provided. Excellent breakfasts, dinners and menu choices. So good we had dinner there every night! . Staff and owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We were sorry to leave but will definitely be back!
