It was extremely clean modern and comfortable. We were situated near a great pub which was great for evening meals. We could also drive easily to Tetbury which is a lovely town. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the owner made us a lovely hot chocolate to complement a great breakfast.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious for a family of 3. The quality was luxurious and comfortable yet homely. It's above a pub in the centre of Tetbury which was ideal, a Tesco and Aldi are five minutes drive, there's an abundance of shops from a chic pet store to clothes shops and even a charity shop! There's a market on too of handmade items which looked Lush.
The stylish and friendly Priory Inn is a privately-owned hotel and restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from Tetbury's shops and a 5-minute drive from the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Staff were so lovely and the fact that the inn is so dog friendly was a huge bonus to us. Location is beautiful and the inn itself is so nicely decorated.
The location was wonderful, in a pretty Cotswold village with lovely countryside nearby. Our room was quiet, spacious with an enormous comfy bed and a large sofa and the bathroom was top notch. The choice at breakfast was amazing, we had a terrific dinner in the evening in the hotel restaurant and the waiting staff were exceptional on both occasions.
Our room was comfortable and charming. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. The support staff went out of their way to help us navigate our journey north as we left Painswick which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. We ate breakfast and dinner on site. Both meals were exquisite!
The location was fantastic to walk to everything. Great having the car park behind the Inn (as parking is hard to get in Painswick). And amazing food in the restaurant. We upgraded to a suite - highly recommend it - overlooking the church.
Beautiful old building in Painswick but well fitted out for a comfortable stay. Lots of space for 2 teenagers to spread out and good kitchen to prepare dinners. Host provided some great check in tips well in advance which made getting to and into the flat so easy. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds area and we loved a couple of the local shops as well.
Staff were very welcoming, the key system worked well, our breakfast and dinner at the bistro were excellent. Also nice to have quiet outdoor seating in the back.
