This family run hotel is exceptional. The rooms are incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet. We were constantly being offered assistance and every request was responded to immediately. We especially loved the assortment of tea, fruit and other goodies which awaited us. Thank you Mark! The management and staff are all truly lovely and engaging people. Good variety of breakfast offerings. Excellent service. Quiet room, albeit on the 2nd floor - you have to carry luggage upstairs. Great to have the pub/restaurant right there; be sure to reserve your table for dinner. We ended up spending more time of our 2-night stay in our room due to my back injury. Staff helped us connect with a local Physio for treatment.

We have stayed at the Old Bell Inn several times and return due to the excellent room facilities, the welcoming staff and the great food - both breakfast and dinner!
The staff were so thoughtful and attentive. They really made us feel welcome and well looked after. The food was exceptional. We had a delicious 3 course dinner and the wine list was extensive. Breakfast was brilliant too! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was lovely. Oh and there were freshly baked cookies in our room. What more could you ask for?

Great place, had dinner outside and the restaurant looked lovely too. All food including breakfast was really good. Staff lovely and friendly. Everything you need in your room toiletries, tea and coffee lovely comfy bed, fan, iron and board. The shower was incredible!!
What a fantastic venue! The room was perfect, comfortable and cosy with superb views. The staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish. I had an amazing steak and chips (to die for) for dinner. Very nice breakfast before I left, lots of choice and relaxed. Such a wonderful place. Can't wait to work in this area again!
