Looking for an inn?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

Stewart and Jacqueline were amazing hosts and so kind from the beginning to end. Stewart was at the door when we arrived and helped us carry luggage to our room. We were greeted by them every morning on our way out and they even returned something we had forgotten to our next stay. Truly above and beyond hosts, would recommend to anyone staying in Oban.

This guest house was very centrally situated, and we walked wherever we needed to go. There is a pub right next to the guest house that serves excellent food. That same pub is open until the early hours of the morning which made it a bit noisy. The host Robert and his wife were wonderful and very helpful. Would happily recommend Sutherland house to anyone.

We chose the Oyster Inn for several reasons. In house restaurant, on-site parking, in room bath and in house pub. It was close to Oban yet far enough away to avoid traffic noises in the room.

Excellent location , I think only 3 miles from Oban , but out in countryside with some lovely walks . Lodges initially look a bit rustic , but once inside are superbly equipped with plenty of power points , USB points, really fast Wi-Fi . Decoration was very nice and quite modern Overall a really nice place to stay for a few days

Oban is a lovely place to explore. The guest house was perfectly placed .We only had a 1 night stay on our journey over to Islay. Had a great meal in the Oban inn .looking over the harbour. Great fish and chips .Ticked all boxes. Breakfast at Dunmore guest house was wonderful too!

The innkeepers were a pleasure to meet and interact with. The property is decorated beautifully and in an incredibly beautiful location high on a hill overlooking the beautiful bay and port of Oban. The property has a lovely garden and the patio is gorgeous. The breakfasts were more than we could ask for and perfect examples of Scottish hospitality.
