The location was excellent as we were visiting family at Kendrew Barracks. Pub was lovely, warm and welcoming. Room was lovely and the bed was clean and comfortable. Food was lovely and catered for my gluten free needs. Steve was the most fantastic host who really couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.

The George & Dragon Country Inn, hotel in Seaton

Situated in Seaton, 35 km from Kelmarsh Hall, The George & Dragon Country Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Our stay at The George & Dragon was lovely. The staff were kind and accommodated our request for a late breakfast as my partner and I wanted to take part in the parkrum at Rutland Water on a Saturday morning. It was lovely to go for the run and then come back to a delicious breakfast. We booked dinner on our first night, and the food was lovely. B&B is located in a beautiful location, and we hope to come back during summer to explore the vicinity. We had breakfast included , and the room rate is good value for money..

Dinner on Friday was very good, that said the manager was stressed dealing with the Bride for the wedding on the following day and there seemed to be disagreements between the Restaurant and the Kitchen.

We had a great time with Exton friends. Our special needs were met with a great dinner on a night which did not normally have a dinner service. Well done the Fox and Hounds!

The location was fabulous. Staff were great. We had dinner in the pub and the food was lovely. The only thing I would say the stairs up to the rooms are very steep.

The location right in the centre of Oakham can't be more convenient. The building is old and looks lovely outside and inside. It has a great character especially inside and I would recommend to visit for a beer and for dinner. The dinner was so well cooked and tasty, a real highlight. There is a small outside area to sit if the weather permits. The staff are lovely, so helpful and friendly. The bathroom was good with a bath which is a bonus. Plenty of space to park although a little tricky to find.
