While a hotel like this is expected to be old, it was not a “run down” kind of old, but clean and charming. The classic breakfast (can’t remember what it was called) was first rate.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Very warm welcome, super nice room, all clean and nicely decorated, dinner and breakfast (the only so dar which offered yoghurt, fruits and homemade granola) was excellent
We stayed here for the grand prix weekend in July so was very overpriced but everywhere unfortunately was. The staff were very nice, the place was clean and we had dinner on one evening which was tasty.
Room was basic but all essentials required for a good stay. Was clean and tidy throughout. Hosts went above and beyond to make sure you felt welcome and comfortable throughout the stay. The bar area is where i ate dinner and it was superb, locals were also very nice and welcoming! Breakfast was fast and cooked well, piping hot.
Fantastic hotel especially if you like WW2 aviation or Art Deco. Everything was perfect, on par with say a premier inn just with more class. The only negative was that the doors were quite loud but I’m being really picky there. Will return again for sure. The museum is well worth a visit as the outside does not prepare you for the level of detail inside. All in all it’s a gem!
