Staff were kind, helpful, friendly and professional. Pub extremely busy but not a problem and good to see a thriving business. Room was nice, comfortable bed which is always a winner. Bathroom a little tired. Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The property was very clean and very interesting. Beautiful grounds and lots to look at. The bed was amazing very comfortable and bedding and pillows were very comfortable and soft. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Nice breakfast in a pretty dinning area.
Our bedroom was average size, excellent decoration throughout, clean and plenty of hot water. Bathroom towels and products were excellent. Breakfast overall was very good indeed as was staff service throughout. Dinner (Friday Evening) see below
We absolutely love the Packhorse Inn and have stayed here many times before.
The staff are lovely. The place is lovely and the food is lovely. The new extension looks great.
Did not like breakfast. Poor, thinnest white sliced bread toast, no offer of brown. Smoked salmon and scrambled was a whole pack of salmon. No one needs that much. Returned most of it. Generally ok, but would not repeat stay.
Great host. Clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a couple of nights away from home for work. I usually stay in a Premier Inn but this came up as closer so decided on a break from the norm! Quiet cul-de-sac location. Great shower. Parking right outside. Made a world of difference to have a kitchenette.
Bedroom fine, bathroom tired
O
We were the only people in restaurant for dinner, but food excellent.
