The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and of a high standard. The coffee was excellent, and the orange juice was good, too. We have stayed in some good hotels, paying a lot more for the stay and the breakfast—neither was up to the standard at the Badger. The towels were fluffy, the bed was comfy, and the temperature was ideal. Bottled water was provided and there was hot chocolate available, too.
With free Wi-Fi and free parking for up to 80 cars on site, this charming hotel is a 5-minute drive from the M6 motorway and 10 minutes’ drive from Crewe.

I stayed here two years ago for £85. It's been closed a while and I expected a refurbishment but it was just the same as it had been two years ago. Scruffy and rundown. This time it cost £135!
The staff were lovely and very helpful I was offered breakfast but went down the next day to be told it was closed.
Reception was also closed so I went in the rear entrance of the kitchen to hand my keys in.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Lovely traditional pub with great accommodation in the annex. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the evening and the food was tasty and well prepared as was breakfast.
Very charming place to stay with friendly staff & comfortable rooms. There isn't loads around if you don't have transport (which was fine for us), but worth bearing in mind. Bar closed quite early as well, so make sure to get there in plenty of time if you want to eat / drink at the inn!
Amazing 16th century building. Right in the centre of town with a great market and interesting shops. Modern fittings in bathrooms. We had a private function room for family dinner of 30 including small children for which the staff were great. Good breakfast - table service, not buffet.
Absolutely everything. The owners were very helpful and friendly. A long day on the bike and welcomed with a cup of tea. They kindly invited me for dinner with them as I was stuck for food which I was very grateful for. Lovely breakfast. They even did a wash of my cycle gear. Thank you so much!
We love coming to the Swan inn it feels like home from.home, the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing, we go .twice a year and always have a wonderful stay.
Loved the interior of the quirky swan inn. Set in beautiful countryside, next to wybunbury moss national nature reserve. The accommodation was clean and well maintained, kettle and hairdryer supplied. Had a lovely meal at the Swan inn. A fantastic place for a peaceful break.
