Location was great. Idea for a nice river walk. The welcome we had was lovely and so very friendly. The bar area was cosy with a log fire and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous.

Breakfast was good. Lady serving was fantastic. All staff were very helpful when we arrived the young man carried our cases to our room 😀
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The Talbot Inn met all our expectations. Particularly good was the Courtyard in which we were able to enjoy our evening meal. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent
Lovely hotel. Friendly hosts and staff. Very happy to see how dog friendly they were. Room was good, we didn't want for anything. Meals breakfast and dinner were tasty and cooked well, compliments to the chef/s. Would definitely stay here again.
It's a historic building, so a bit quirky. We loved the traditional decor throughout which, together with the friendly, helpful staff, gave a welcoming, homely feel. Our room was very comfortable and well-equipped. Dinner was superb!
All the staff were welcoming, cheerful and professional. There was a good choice on the dinner menu and the selected dishes were all excellently presented and delicious. Breakfast also excellent.
