Beautiful old pub, and nicely furnished rooms. Wonderful staff who went out of their way to get us settled +a last minute table at the restaurant, even though they were short-staffed and it was a busy Euro semi-finals eve! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

We have stayed at this lovely little place before with our dog. It's warm, comfy, cosy & well equipped. It's excellently located being just a few mins walk from the harbour, pubs & deli. We had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn overlooking the harbour & we were warmly welcomed as we were on our previous visits. The little buses into Penzance are regular & reasonable with very friendly drivers - £2.50 adult return as of Jan 2024. We look forward to returning again.

Mousehole is a beautiful place and I chose The Ship Inn because it was on the harbour. I had a room with a view and the room was as if it had been newly refurbished. There was housekeeping that sorted cleanliness, towels and biscuits each day:) I was there for a course, reading Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra a short walk away in the Solomon Hall. Food and drink can be had in the bar at The Ship, which also has a restaurant and 2 Fore Street, again round the corner had reasonable lunches - great soups.

The Ship Inn was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Mousehole. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The pub downstairs was cosy and quirky with plenty of seaside charm. The food on the dinner menu was great and the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would recommend The Ship Inn to anyone visiting Mousehole.
