Didn’t have breakfast on either mornings as too early for weekend stay. Times acceptable for weekdays but not weekend. Went elsewhere as told power cut planned for high street on the Sunday morning but other eating places were open Sunday morning. Puzzled?

We found The Crown Hotel very clean, we really enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. Main bedroom in the family suite is spacious, rooms and bathroom are well decorated. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking to choose from around the hotel. We'll definitely be back when visiting Morecambe area or as a break before reaching Scotland.

Beautifully renovated to a very high standard, retaining many of the original old cottage features. Decor was innovative, quirky and it had a really cosy old cottagey feel not expected from the outside. Excellent facilities with some nice touches. Outside space at the back was nicely kept. Owner was helpful and dog friendly too.
