Didn’t have breakfast on either mornings as too early for weekend stay.
Times acceptable for weekdays but not weekend.
Went elsewhere as told power cut planned for high street on the Sunday morning but other eating places were open Sunday morning. Puzzled?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
It a very clean and had a homely feel. Loads of little extras to the point of my wife and I having a little game on what David had not thought of.David was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was lovely.
Lovely guest house and definitely will return.
Amazing architecture , comfortable seating in dining and bar area with perfect seaside views, beautiful staircase , welcoming roomy entrance. Professional friendly staff throughout - felt so well treated and looked after from beginning to end of stay
An absolutely lovely little hotel to stay at for a night/few nights. Great staff, amazing food (dinner and breakfast), lovely & comfortable rooms. Definitely exceeded our expectations and would definitely return just for the stay.
This was an ideal location, walkable to nearby pubs and amenities
The decor and layout is stunning, tastefully decorated rustic meets modern
The host Neil was super helpful and accommodating for us and our dog, also super responsive via message
The beds were really comfortable! Slept like a dream. Also the bath was very nice
Would 100% stay here again
We found The Crown Hotel very clean, we really enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. Main bedroom in the family suite is spacious, rooms and bathroom are well decorated. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking to choose from around the hotel. We'll definitely be back when visiting Morecambe area or as a break before reaching Scotland.
Beautifully renovated to a very high standard, retaining many of the original old cottage features. Decor was innovative, quirky and it had a really cosy old cottagey feel not expected from the outside. Excellent facilities with some nice touches. Outside space at the back was nicely kept.
Owner was helpful and dog friendly too.
Breakfast staff a bit miserable. Premier Inn staff much better.
Evening staff better.
