The Horse and Groom Inn, hotel in Chichester

A 8-minute drive from Chichester, The Horse & Groom is a newly refurbished 17th century pub with delicious award-winning food and ale.

A quaint, cosy inn with very comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms. Extremely clean and very friendly staff. We had expected less after our less favourable experiences with other inns on our last trip and were very pleasantly surprised. You can choose from a variety of breakfast dishes and requests are catered for. An absolute recommendation

The Cowdray suite was spacious for 4 girlfriends overnight. We were only there to sleep as went out for dinner and had been walking in the day. Great area, Cowdray always great to visit. Lovely views, walks, farm shop. Golf course right there.

Nice cabins in a quiet situation behind the inn. The bed was large and comfortable, and the rooms were serviced every day. The breakfast was taken in the inn each morning, It was cooked to order and served by a very competent member of staff.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was separate from the inn across a small road so it was very quiet. I liked the fridge in the wardrobe and the supplies of fresh milk and water etc. I particularly liked having a comfortable armchair to relax in. The shower was very good. The gentlemen who greeted me on arrival were friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely everything! It is beautifully situated, the rooms are absolutely beautiful, comfortable, pristine, the surrounds are kept tidy. The rooms are behind the main Inn and off the road so it isn’t noisey at all.
