We all thought the rooms needed updating, the one room smelt very muskey, when I booked the rooms it said they were all single beds, but it was 1 single and 1 double bed in each room, the web sight needs changing to be clearer on how the rooms are planned out.
The choice for breakfast was good.

The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

Fabulous food (evening meal and breakfast)
Staff very helpful and situated in a lovely village close to Alton Towers, will definitely be staying again on our next visit.
Thank you to all at the Crown Inn
Dinner was amazing, the best pie I have had for a VERY long time. The room was small but had everything that we need, The staff were super friendly and the evening server in the restaurant was a pocket rocket and couldnt do enough to help us.
The food was freshly cooked from great ingredients and was amazing.
The eggs Benedict I chose for breakfast was the best I’ve had in awhile.
From the moment we arrived we received a really friendly welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.
There was an amazing selection of drinks and biscuits in our room and a water cooler close by in the corridor.
The food and service was first class. Nicki and Gem were great and couldn’t have been more helpful.
We highly recommend The Crown Inn.
Staff wonderful: check-in, bar, restaurant etc. Helpful, efficient and friendly. Cooked breakfast good. Dinner well cooked and delicious. (especially enjoyed vegetables not overcooked and tasty). Fridge available for residents much appreciated. Shower excellent.
Food in the restaurant was lovely, staff friendly, room decor lovely and excellent cleanliness. I would say this guest house is more suited to couples or individuals staying rather than families.
We're a family of four and the family room we stayed in was perfect for our requirements. Both nights we ate in the restaurant where the standard of the food was excellent as was the service from the staff. I'd definitely recommend the Crown Inn to others.
Dinner was great, staff were very friendly. Our rooms were spacious and comfy. And we had a delicious breakfast the next morning. Would highly recommend!
Our room was spotlessly clean, very well decorated with comfy bed. Excellent cooked breakfast.
We stayed on a Sunday night, so ate dinner in the pub. We had roast pork, it was without doubt the best roast pork I have ever had.
