It was quaint and comfortable. The food was wonderful. They were very accommodating, making a take-away breakfast for us, due to our early departure time. We had a great stay.

Large old house in a nice garden. Set back from the road so surprisingly quiet. Room included microwave and fridge that we didn't expect. Host very helpful - brought silverware for our picnic dinner. Great place for our last night in Britain. Easy drive to Heathrow.

We returned after 5 weeks holidaying to be greeted by the same friendly faces. Room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner all freshly cooked to order and all our choices were delicious. Easy 30 minute drive to and from Heathrow Airport.

Very, very tired property. Go back 10 years or further and Fredricks was known as the high quality place to stay and to dine in and around maidenhead. It is now a sad shadow of its former self and in need of some serious attention. I would put it on the level of a poor guest house now.

Cozy pub, lovely decor and great food. Had a wonderful breakfast (lots of options from good oatmeal to full English breakfast) and had dinner there too. Also liked the dessert. Tasty beer and really liked the pie of the day but family enjoyed every meal we tried. Great for a night with small kids too. We stayed in the family room with a pullout couch and baby bed that was provided by the property. Very friendly staff!!

The hotel is right on the River Thames and we had wonderful views from our room which had a small balcony looking over the river. The hotel is undergoing a change in management and the restaurant is not currently open however there are some restaurants within walking distance. The receptionist and barman were very helpful. Highly recommend the boatshed for lunch or dinner and it is within walking distance of the hotel.

We had requested, if possible, a ground floor room, which we had with a small balcony overlooking the River Thames. The bedroom was specious and clean as was the adjoining shower room. We were very pleased both with the choice at breakfast and dinner. Car parking was available outside the room. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and nothing seemed 'too much trouble'. Excellent location
