The location of the Rising Sun is wonderful, located opposite the harbour in Lynmouth. My partner and myself stayed in January so very much out of season however the pub did lack atmosphere, plenty of people were staying at the property but it did seem they were eating and drinking elsewhere in the evening.

Exceptional food and the Inn was beautiful in a wonderful location. The room had some tired aspects in the bathroom but it was comfortable and warm with a lovely view of the horses in the fields across the way. Milk wasnt available in the room and no mention in check in but the complimentary cookies and Gin and Tonic were nice treats. I would definitely return to this wonderful location.

Lovely old pub in the heart of Exmoor country. Good food and pleasant staff, we had a dog room which was fabulous and even a dog shower is available, great dog facility. Lovely and clean.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
location on the South West Coast Path. Food was superb both dinner and breakfast. My hubby said it was the best steak he had ever had. Good shower room. Low beams and wiggly walls.
The guest house is perfectly located near the centre of Lynmouth adjacent the river. Great breakfasts were served and the hosts were lovely..
We especially liked drifting off to sleep to the sound of the river.
Atmospheric historic inn, picturesque location, friendly staff, good food and comfortable room.
