Nothing, please be very careful when thinking of booking this ‘hotel’. We stayed here for barely one night and would never consider it again. Nowhere in the booking information or property description does it state that you will be sleeping above effectively, a nightclub. The music was ridiculously loud, vibrating the floors and didn’t stop until 1AM - we stayed here as a family of 4, 1 baby, 1 toddler and 2 adults. We requested a baby cot on booking which was confirmed, checked in, no cot, was told it would be there when we arrived back from out evening plans, got back and still no cot. Contacted reception and thankfully then we got one, albeit not a very clean nor intact one.
The room was a good size, however had a window that had been previously smashed and was just covered with a plank of wood. The pillow case had large crusty food like patches on and the towels had yellow stains.
After all this we decided to let the children have a little sleep after a long travel day and then left in the early hours.
Please, reconsider booking this place, it is not what they portray in their pictures, and is not even called Riverside Rooms, when you arrive it goes under a complete different name.
Set in Soberton, The White Lion, Soberton features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Lovely, typically English country location, yet very close to Portsmouth for the ferry. Real oldy, worldy feel to the pub and restaurant area where we enjoyed a very tasty meal. Large portions - just so you’re aware! Not a complaint - just info! Bedroom was small but not cramped and had everything that we needed including a kettle. Complete TV selection - iplayer, Sky, NOW. Would recommend. Gorgeous hanging baskets!

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The room we had was spacious, the bed comfy and the shower hot! Although the room overlooked the hotel entrance & car park, it was nice & quiet. We had dinner & breakfast and the food was very good with decent portion sizes. The staff were lovely & very accommodating when we wanted to leave the car parked for an hour after check out so we could grab a coffee at the marina. All in all, a fab stop off point on our journey to the New Forest :).
The restaurant and bar were lovely, really modern and clean. All staff were very friendly.
The was well appointed with everything we needed.
Dinner and breakfast were yummy
The room was well equipped and comfortable. We ate a late lunch/dinner and breakfast at the pub, as well as a late dinner drink and dessert. The food was good and reasonably priced. The only negative was the difficulty getting our check to pay for meals. Once we were eating and checked on once, we were pretty much left alone. Small thing, that.
I abandoned my stay here. We were attending a funeral at 3PM for my father.
Were hassled by the venue with 2 phone calls asking if we wanted to book for dinner, then a further call asking us what time we were arriving whilst in the funeral and again after at the family gathering.
Clean. Lovely staff. Thoughtful accommodation. Perfect for dog also being able to let him potter for a pee around car park last thing at night. Husband loved coffee machine 😏. Stayed due to family visit so didn't sample food but family said food is great here although possibly a bit pricey. I don't know - we had Grandma Dinner and her amazing breakfast 😁
