Lovely room and very good meal in the Beeches. Slight problem as the room was above the central heating boiler which was noisy. Ear plugs would help. Lovely staff.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Dinner on first night was adequate but not exceptional, on the second night as I was attending a funeral wake at this hotel, I tried to book a table for dinner at lunchtime, but was told all tables were fully booked which means there was no priority policy for residents
An amazing friendly welcome, the room was spotless, bright and airy, the evening service in the bar was efficient and the food ..both dinner and breakfast...well presented and very tasty.
Our room was very spacious, peaceful, well appointed and spotlessly clean, with a super comfortable bed and lovely views across the fields. Dinner was great - nice buzzy atmosphere and toad in the hole was a standout dish! Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Efficient friendly service by all the staff.
Lovely warm and comfortable room in a beautiful old annexe (no pub noise). It was new year's eve so we couldn't have dinner (understandably), but we enjoyed a friendly drink in the pub. We were offered a delicious freshly cooked breakfast by such friendly and helpful staff - we really enjoyed being there.
We ate dinner in the restaurant it was delicious , I’m coeliac and had choices I was very happy. Breakfast was very good quality we really enjoyed the food.
