Tafarn Penllan - White Horse Inn, hotel in Llanrwst

Situated in Llanrwst, 23 km from Snowdon, Tafarn Penllan - White Horse Inn features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean.. Situated in a quiet village which was picturesque. A short drive to zip world and Betws-y- coed, ideal for a place to lay your head to visit surrounding Snowdonia. The pub below serves food in the evening and has a lovely log burner.

The food 1 x dinner and 2 x breakfast were very good. The menu for dinner gave a good selection to choose from but I would strongly recommend the 'Beef Madras'. I enjoyed the Breakfast Buffet that was well laid out and looked very tempting for someone trying to diet. JORDAN was a very helpful member of staff, nothing could phase him and he did his upmost to see to our requests.

The look but it’s very dirty - amazing property but unloved. Dinner was lovely but not cooked in house as I found plastic in my food, could only assume it’s been catered from outside.

A very classic hotel, feels like something out of the early 1900’s which I loved, lovely little touches and details. Great location too! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food at dinner was lovely too!

The hotel is in a great location, perfect for sightseeing and especially for Bodnant Gardens. The lady who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was delicious, but the music kept cutting off which spoiled the ambience a bit.

Beautiful building inside and out, right off the main road but still feels very private. The dinner was delicious and very affordable, and the staff were all extremely helpful and kind!

Surprisingly, the cooking was good! Breakfast provided a very limited choice in cereals. Boiled eggs were unavailable and, fortunately, we were able to “share” a cruet with an adjacent table. Dinner was good and the menu was quite varied.

Booked rather on a short notice, but totally enjoyed! The atmosphere is like a little bit medieval in a good way, we enjoyed a lot a dinner - such a fast serving and tasty dishes, cocktails in the lounge! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful!
