Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Food is of very good standard. I had Sunday roast dinner. Quality and quantity were excellent. A light meal in evening and a superb Scrambled egg and bacon. Best scrambled egg ever and extra thick bacon. Room and bedding etc very clean and well stocked tea/coffee. Lovely old building - maintained well on the whole.

Friendly, attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble. Go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Quirky 17th century building. Food excellent - I had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfectly cooked steak for dinner and breakfast was very generous portion. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Provisions in room were adequate.

The staff were really helpful and lovely. The restaurant was good and tasty. Breakfast was very good. The inn was very interesting historically, though the old, uneven floors made it an interesting experience to walk on when you were half asleep!

This was an historic inn in a beautiful village. There was parking provided around the back which was probably quite necessary. I had a really friendly check-in and delightful service throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and brightness of my room. I ate dinner in the pub which was fantastic and enjoyed my breakfast too. My dog was able to join me for both dinner and breakfast as well as stay in the room which is sometimes not the case.
