The hotel was very grand looking. Parking was not on site but a short walk of 5 minutes & they gave you a pass for a deposit. The staff were so friendly yet professional &went above & beyond. There was entertainment on the Saturday evening. Dining is highly recommended & fantastic value for the price
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Dinner in the restaurant was surprisingly good although I suspect that this was "food service" aka pre-prepared, given that the menu never changes - and prices were significantly higher than anywhere else locally.
The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring North Wales.
We had a room overlooking hills. Just stunning! It was spacious and comfortable. Wooden beams and rustic interiors made it even better. We had a kettle and some snacks in the room. Breakfast is delicious. It's just a really good place to stay.
Great place to stay at the foot of Snowdon, very clean rooms and bathrooms, the washbasin in the female dorm was handy, very sturdy and quiet beds, very easy to check in and out, very nice and friendly staff, good wifi, bar and cafe open all day with dinner options. The bus stop is right outside with buses every hour. Very good value for money.
A really great place. A beautifully refurbished old schoolhouse in a peaceful setting with a beautiful panorama of the magnificent landscape. Sonni is unsurpassed as a hostess - really went above and beyond. Yummy breakfast and dinner. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the superbly furnished common area. Comfy beds with power socket and personal reading light ensured a restful night's sleep.
Hostel was extremely clean and well kept. Facilities were great with a lovely open seated area with tea/coffee amenities. The bathroom facilities were very clean with plenty of space.
The host Sonni was also brilliant with frequent communication before the stay and always available if needed. Sonni was also very friendly and had great local knowledge.
I had dinner and breakfast both of which were lovely - I’d recommend if staying to have the dinner as there’s few options nearby unless you drive somewhere else.
Friendly and helpful hostess. Very clean, comfortable rooms and dinning area. A full English breakfast was fantastic and set us up nicely for a day of trekking and exploring.
The guest house is cosy and comfortable. The owners run it themselves and serve breakfast every morning. They offered to take us to the beginning of one of the Snowdon trails, which was very generous with his time. It all felt very nice!
