The property is fine for a short 1 night stay, the rooms look very tired but very comfortable and clean. I had a wonderful sleep. It just needs a make over. This is why I consider the property 'good'. The room was nice and warm.

Filthy rooms, bathroom and bed was rock hard, hall way stunk and car park not lit at night.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
I can’t say a bad thing about The Plough Inn, we throughly enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable and the location was ideal. The breakfast was exceptional.
Very friendly and helpful French owner greeted us and we were able to access our rooms a little early which was so appreciated as we were soaked. Good shower but ventilation not efficient in bathroom so stayed very humid for some time. Food was good for dinner.
Out in the beautiful countryside is this superb little gem of a pub with roons / bijou hotel with a pub. What a find! A great welcome from Amanda & Vincent, super room, good selection of beers, wines etc plus a short but eclectic dinner menu of cleverly different very tasty dishes. It is definitely one we will return to.
We had a wonderful stay here. The Inn is surrounded by pretty English countryside, so quaint and exactly what you would want for a country escape. The room was decorated nicely, very clean, cosy and comfortable. The pub itself is lovely and rustic, breakfast delicious with lots of options (hot and cold) and staff very friendly. Thanks especially to Dennis who made sure we had a great stay. We had a problem with the shower in our room running water that was too hot and couldn’t be adjusted, and were moved to another room.
Lovely choice for breakfast, served my favourite smashed avocado with poached egg. Evening meal was also very tasty, small menu but still a good variety, loved the vegetarian pie.
Great, quiet location, extremely friendly, helpful staff.
Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful, quintessential English Inn.
Our stay was nice- the room was new, clean, and cozy. We heard birdsong and had lovely fresh air coming from the window, so it was very peaceful. Dinner was good and the ambiance and service was friendly, but relaxed.
A beautiful old inn, perfect for the Thames Path. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bar area was cosy with good beers. The dinner was extremely good and well above good pub food. Breakfast was also delicious. I had some issues with my room, which were resolved above what I expected.
Vincent the manager was exceptional. Ran a very tight ship but still found time to inter-react with the 4 of us. We had dinner and breakfast which were both excellent.
