Curly Tail Accommodation, hotel in Bishops Castle

Set in Bishops Castle, 9.1 km from Clun Castle, Curly Tail Accommodation offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

It was very comfortable and lovely and warm on what was a very cold and icy evening. It is a stones throw to the mail street and the local pubs are an easy walk to source an evening meal. The breakfast snacks were ideal for those who needed them but we ventured to Herbies cafe just off the high street for a most excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

A lovely old inn in a magical location on the edge of the village green by the centuries old bridge on the River Teme. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing, you could easily lose yourself as time slips gently away downstream. Fabulous staff, food and ambience, people laugh and enjoy life here. My room was gorgeous and comfortable and I had a wonderful sleep. A fantastic find and where I hope to stay the next time I'm in the area.

Food for dinner and breakfast was excellent. Our room was delightful and comfortable with an excellent clean bathroom. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere and the location by the river is stunning. Staff excellent. Expensive but worth it.

Sally & Adrian have created a sublime rural hideaway just a few minutes drive from the little village of Leintwardine. We saw birds, hares and even hedgehogs in or around the beautiful country garden that blends into the surrounding countryside. A native lovers dream! Our dog was made welcome, and we wanted for nothing. Every question ww had was answered by return, and a feeling of genuine warmth met us from the very beginning. This is a real find, and we shall return. Thank you!

Lovely relaxing hotel, beautiful beer garden right next to a river. Friendly, helpful and professional staff where nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner which were all faultless and with great choice of drinks. This was a work trip but am now obliged to return with my wife as she saw the pictures I took during my stay. I look forward to a weekend break at the Lion.

The suite was beautiful - this is a black and white house with tremendous history - 500 plus years old. So - uneven floors (only a bit) open beams, rustic, yet very special. The room - well suite - was big - really big - with a most wonderful and comfortable four poster bed. The mod-cons are there but in a more subtle format than usual. Owners welcoming - very - and relaxed. What was extra special is they have a castle in the garden - the remains of the old mott & bailey.
