Breakfast items were plentifully provided in each room, where the continental breakfast was self-prepared. A table and two chairs were in each room. Cereals, juice, milk, tea/coffe, fruit, bread, croisants and jams provided. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely..
The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep.
We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
A nice welcome from the hosts Sam and Sophie, the Dovecoat inn is a gem. Set in a nice village, the accomodation was very clean, and met all our requirements. But best of all ... we dined in the Dovecoat two evenings the food is well excellent and well presented. We will certainly be visiting again.
The Dovecote Inn is one of those places that i don't really want to tell anyone else just how nice it is just in case it gets far too popular & we don't get to stay again!
The bedroom looks better than the website photo, which isn't usually the case! The idea of a breakfast tray in the room is perfect, especially with an early start like we had.
We had a meal in the restaurant, delicious, all three courses!
Hope we get to stay again.
Great accommodation in a lovely quintessential English village. Very close to the venue for the wedding of our nephew. Fantastic weekend. Thank you Dovecote Inn!
Used Ivy Cottage as a convenient base for exploring Southwell Minster and Workhouse. Warm welcome from Samantha on arrival. Superlative breakfast served at a time to suit us, with much appreciated details such as freshly squeezed juice and a table set outside, given the stunning weather. Very convenient to have the Dovecote Inn opposite.
just amazing home from home accommodation in most delightful location and just over road from the dovecote inn pub restaurant - Samantha was an amazing host, very attentive
Lovely location. Rooms comfortable and very rustic it being a converted barn. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast plentiful and good quality. It was so relaxing to eat in the room, thoroughly enjoyable. Fresh bread, milk, yoghurts etc
Evening meal was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice, fresh and good quality produce, service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble
Have been many times before and will return.
Location was quiet. Our suite comprised a downstairs bathroom, upstairs an ensuite loo/basin, large bedroom with table for eating buffet breakfast (milk, bread, fruit, etc provided fresh each day). Small fridge, coffee machine & toaster also provided. Dinner in the pub for both evenings - excellent food. Staff friendly and helpful.
Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable room, with a very good choice for continental breakfast. Evening dinner very good in relaxing beautiful surroundings. The bedroom was quiet, spacious pleasant ambience with a good sized shower and efficient room
