Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We had a great stopover for 1 night. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious. Dinner was a bit rushed as there were a coach load of tourists arriving.
We knew it was a guest house only with no staff and just a cereal breakfast but have to say we paid less for hotels elsewhere that included full staff and cooked breakfast included. Seemed a bit run down.
Great location.
We were encouraged at check in to book a table for dinner and are very glad we did so. It was super busy and we wouldn’t have got a table otherwise.

2
Followed by a trip
