Wonderful location and garden between river and canal but the whole place has a rather tired look and our small room was in dire need of redecoration It was obvious someone had spilt tea or coffee on the skirting The staff were great.Yhis is the third Butcombe Inn we have stayed at and the menu is very limited and is possibly the same. Good breakfast.

We loved that the whole place - pub and rooms - are dog friendly. The decor and furnishing were very comfortable. The setting between the river and canal was delightful! The garden looks gorgeous and we are thinking about returning for an evening out there in the summer. The food at dinner and breakfast was lovely!

Lovely little pub in a pretty location by the river and canal. Great location for walks. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our dog was also made very welcome. The rooms were clean, comfy, warm and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We ate dinner and breakfast at The Dundas Arms. Both were excellent. We hope to return.

It’s a quirky place with lovely gardens and outside areas. The bar and restaurant areas are comfortable and welcoming. Our bedroom was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts on both mornings were very tasty. We had dinner on our first night and that was very tasty and value for money.

Very pleasant stay, staff were all very nice, breakfast was very good, in our opinion we think the bar prices are very over the top £25 for a bottle of wine that we get in our local Trust Inns pub in Blackpool for £12 exactly the same wine, beers are all cask ales or local brews, but this is maybe a more localised pub for locals, on the evening food menu this again is very over priced for the venue, but overall the staff do make your stay very pleasant,
