The George & Dragon Country Inn, hotel in Kettering

Situated in Seaton, 35 km from Kelmarsh Hall, The George & Dragon Country Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Beautiful old pub in a really lovely village. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very nicely done and very clean. We had an en suite, again not huge but shower a good size. The bed was comfortable. We slept well. Unfortunately we were going home from a funeral and it had been an extremely long day so we didn’t have dinner. The included breakfast was amazing so we feel we missed out not having an evening meal. If we get the chance to visit again, we will and hopefully stay a bit longer.

The George Great Oxendon, hotel in Kettering

Situated in Great Oxendon, 4 km from Market Harborough, The George features an on-site restaurant and bar. Free WiFi and free private parking are available.

Breakfast was superb in the morning as I had a full English and the staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately due to my late arrival I was unable to have dinner at the hotel but I'm sure it'd of been great. The bed was also extremely comfortable and it was on the direct route home from Colchester (where I was working) back home to the North West so the location was ideal for the situation.

The Bullshead, Arthingworth House B&B, hotel in Kettering

The Bull’s Head is a family-owned rural pub located within the scenic countryside of Northamptonshire, just 10 minutes from the A14 motorway.

Breakfasts were great, full English, friendly and accommodating staff, (loved the breakfast music selection!) parking right outside the accommodation, own front door, so could come and go as we pleased. Loved the old English pub vibe, and the quiet rural location. Very nice evening meals served as well. Good value ! Location suited us well for visiting family in Market Harborough and Glen Parva.

Staff are friendly and helpful. It is under new management and they are clearly chucking out old stuff and renovating the place. No breakfast was on offer but the Red Lion pub in the same road served breakfast and dinner. There is off road parking.

We have stayed in many places around the UK and have been happy with them all but The Woolpack was exceptional at every level. The staff were amazing from the welcome when we arrived to dinner and drinks after, then breakfast and room service all with a smile, professionalism and a can do attitude. We were very lucky as the weekend had some live music which was also very professional and created an even better atmosphere - if that was possible. Rooms were perfect, huge bed, crisp linen very quiet with a wonderful outlook. We will be back

Bed was really comfy, the spa and swimming pool was good, the lawn club was really pretty. They left us complimentary little bottle of rose Prosecco in the room and gave us glass of complimentary champagne at dinner for my birthday which was really lovely.
