I stayed at the Wheatsheaf for an event close by. They did a great job of managing the separate resturant/pub and Inn. The breakfast was amazing, and being able to eat great food onsite for dinner was a plus!

We arrived for the grand reopening of this beautiful old Inn. The entire property has been lovingly restored, and the decor is outstanding. The pub is charming and the Sunday roast out of this world.

Characterful pub and rooms. Good, friendly service. Good food in pub too.
Set up of family room was great (two joined rooms with bathroom).
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The dinner we had after we had arrives was very tasty and enjoyable.
Our room was "Quirky". The bed was comfy, and had a good night's sleep. Couple of down points were that the toilet seat was very loose, and the shower head wouldn't sit firmly in the holder. The bathroom floor sloped from the door down to the bath, They were easy things to overcome.
We enjoyed the experience
Proper country Inn, in very rural setting. Neat and comprehensive outside / garden facilities, some covered areas and plenty of picnic benches and tables, Attentive and pleasant staff. Quiet overnight, Comfy bed. Television sport sound was muted, (thank goodness),
I loved staying at the Crown Inn - our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully-decorated, looking out over the village green at Dial Post. . The quality of the food was outstanding, including fresh fish and locally farmed beef and venison. I really enjoyed the breakfast hamper, which you can order the night before and which is great value at £10 a head (kids would enjoy it too). The pub also has a very pleasant garden at the back. If you're visiting the Knepp Rewilding Project, then it's an easy walk from the pub.
Lovely place to stay and food was absolutely amazing - both dinner and breakfast. Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area and need a bed for the night!
The apartment was amazing - really spacious, well equipped, totally charming. the beds were comfortable and the staff couldn’t have been better. plus the food at the pub was superb - we had a fabulous dinner there.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Windmill Inn. My room was recently refurbished, comfortable and warm. The shower was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, dinner was freshly cooked and delicious. I would definitely stay again.
