The Mug House Inn, hotel in Himley

Nesting by the River Severn in the picturesque town of Bewdley, the 4-star Mug House Inn and Restaurant is thought to have been opened in the 17th Century and retains many period features.

Friendliness of staff and quality of service. Lovely location, decent sized room, well equipped. Good menu, nice food, good beer selection. We had thought it might be quite noisy from passers by given the location but this was not a problem after all.

The room was great, nicely decorated and well equipped. In particular the bathroom was really lovely and beautifully clean. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and attentive at breakfast and dinner. The cooked breakfasts looked fantastic although I just had cereals due to time constraints. The food at dinner was delicious and plentiful and would recommend trying the restaurant even if not staying as a guest. All in all a very enjoyable stay albeit a short one for work purposes.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. On a busy Fathers day weekend, the staff worked well as a team! Attractive dinning room with comfortable seating was an adding bonus. Well stocked bar with a reasonable selection of wines.
