The cottages are really nice - inside and out. Good to those who came for a conference held in Hinxton conference center. You can go to the conference center just in 5 minutes through the gate. Need to press the button and explain to the security where you are going. The hotel is the only place nearby which serves food, especially in the evenings. Fish and chips was delicious. Breakfast was very nice too.
The Red Lion Hotel dates back to the 13th century and features wooden beams hand-carved by Carmelite monks.

Cozy well maintained stay. Clean and tidy. Didn't had much interaction with the staffs but the fewer interactions were decent. You have all basic amenities available and it's a cute place with nice surrounding.
The Lord Byron Inn is a charming pub that dates back to the 17th century. It has a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and offers guest accommodations just over 2 miles south of Cambridge city center.

The pub was taken over just 5 wks ago. There was 9 of us who wanted dinner on Saturday they were booked inside the pub, however the staff looked after us and the chef managed to feed us.
Location was excellent
Loved our room top quality linen & towels beautifully furnished, bathroom was fabulous high quality.
We had dinner which was really delicious a varied menu, portion sizes very generous we couldn’t fit a dessert in sadly ..the cocktails were delicious.
Chef / manager extremely nice chap couldn’t do enough for us.
Attention to detail. High quality serviettes while dining. The same when using the toilet facilities- top notch towels. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Fantastic food- both breakfast and dinner. Couldn't fault it.
It’s a lovely place, the staff is very friendly. The room was clean and provided with tea.
Dinner and breakfast was in a nice atmospheric restaurant.
We enjoyed our stay, this was a nice experience.
Very nice location only 10 mins from Duxford Imperial War Museum. Have stayed here before 5 years ago. Definite improvement with new owners. Very welcoming when we arrived and nothing too much trouble. Dinner and Breakfast excellent. Will definitely stay again.
The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.
Typical English inn. Location in a small neighbourhood. Not far from Cambridge. Easy to park. Spacious rooms. Nicely decorated.
