The Bluebell was conveniently located to family we were visiting. The room was quiet and comfortable for two. Breakfast was delicious (cooked to order) and service was very friendly. Fresh towels every day were appreciated.

We keep finding little gems like this one. They are in the process of upgrading the place and it will be lovely when the exterior is brightened up. The food was absolutely gorgeous and I hope the locals rediscover the restaurant.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
This is a historic inn with lovely quiet rooms attached. Our beds were comfy and the bathroom was good with a nice shower. The outlook is pleasant and the village a delight. It has a restaurant with a decent menu. The drink selection was superb. Whilst some of the staff were evidently new they were enthusiastic and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and locally sourced. The location is very handy for Burghley House and Stamford
Lovely old dog friendly inn situated in a beautiful village. Comfortable room with direct access to the courtyard (which was ideal with a dog and unloading luggage from the car)), hearty breakfast and great dinner menu.
Excellent value, lots of nice little touches, like a fridge in the room with real milk and cake when we arrived. Robes which are always welcome. The restaurant served a lovely dinner and breakfast.
Immaculate presentation in the accomodation and fabulous evening meal at the Bluebell Inn. Friendly and helpful host and staff. Had a delightful stroll around this characterful village. Our purpose was an overnight stay to break the trip north but it became a really pleasant addition to our holiday.
The Bluebell Inn is a really lovely pub with a great atmosphere and 4 rooms.
Paul is a really nice host, very helpful and kind.
The breakfast served by Charlie was great and my room was bright, clean and comfortable and quiet despite being off the courtyard to the bar
A bonus was fresh milk in the little fridge and some homemade chocolate brownie on arrival!!
Lots of nice white fluffy towels and crisp white sheets
Everything. Twin room with wet room annexed to the pub. Pretty old stone buildings, the inn with inside and outside eating/drinking areas. Room styled very nicely with a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, fresh milk and a brownie each. We had dinner and breakfast there, excellent food, lovely atmosphere. Value for money, perfect.
It was such a friendly welcoming inn.We couldn't fault it .The dinner was brilliant not pricey. It was obviously a hit with locals , a Thursday night and it was full. Can't recommend it highly enough, the staff go that extra mile to make sure everything is the best
We had a room in a converted workshop, which was fabulous and roomy, with a great bathroom. There was a fabulous choice of tea and coffee, with fresh milk and cake in the fridge. The food was excellent, with a great choice for dinner and breakfast. The bar was full of locals having a great Saturday night, so all in all, it was a brilliant place to stay.
