Loved the ambiance of this cosy inn. The food, evening meal and breakfast, was excellent and of generous proportions . The room was comfortable and nicely furnished
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast excellent - great choice and very nicely presented and laid out. Dinner was good but perhaps could have been better as was lacking finess and presentation.
Lovely cottage in a wonderful location, with views out across th fields. The rooms were beautiful, and the large winbdow in the main room gave a lovely amount of light, and a beautiful view whilst eating dinner. The kitchen area was small, but had everything we needed for cooking dinner and getting breakfast. The cottage was nice and warm, and the beds were comfortable.
Lovely old Yorkshire Inn nicely maintained. Great bedroom with space and all we needed very clean. Good breakfast both cold buffet and Yorkshire full English. Varied dinner menu well cooked and presented. Good base for exploring the NY Moors.
Very comfy room - but small but had everything I needed for the night before setting off on the Cleveland Way walk. Bothe dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Fresh, clean, comfortable and characterful accomcodation in a beautiful location. Great cooked breakfast! Friendly and helpful hosts. Peaceful setting, yet only a couple of minutes' walk from the bustling market square with its historic inns, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Lovely walks and heritage sites nearby. Highly recommended.
