The decor, cleanliness and welcome were excellent particularly the lady who provided our light dinner in the early evening, it was freshly prepared and very good and the 2 ladies who served breakfast were very efficient and friendly.

The breakfasts were excellent. Very nicely cooked and well presented. As were the table settings. Also our host Donna related some interesting stories about her life and travels to other countries. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she looked after us very well. The hotel is a character in itself having been a bank in a previous life. The whole place was clean and spotless. Would definitely stay at the Bank Guest House again.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the apartment wasn’t available for our stay but the owner offered us a room in her guest house nearby and cook our breakfast. The room was lovely, it overlooks the main street but it was really quiet. We had a great sleep and breakfast was delicious.
