Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The decor, cleanliness and welcome were excellent particularly the lady who provided our light dinner in the early evening, it was freshly prepared and very good and the 2 ladies who served breakfast were very efficient and friendly.
The breakfasts were excellent. Very nicely cooked and well presented. As were the table settings. Also our host Donna related some interesting stories about her life and travels to other countries. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she looked after us very well. The hotel is a character in itself having been a bank in a previous life. The whole place was clean and spotless. Would definitely stay at the Bank Guest House again.
Clean, comfortable, spacious and modern accommodation. Centrally located, so easy to wander into town for dinner. Host was really helpful with our questions and suggestions/recommendations
Room was very comfortable. Dinner was great and good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very pretty hotel in a lovely location with a beautiful garden. This was perfect for us to break up our journey home as a 1 night stay.
The guest house was beautiful. If you want peace and quiet, then this is the place.
The owners were just fabulous, and could not fo enough for you, and the breakfast was beautiful.
Beautiful Victorian building with original features.
We loved the decor and individual touches.
The guest house is conveniently located in the town centre.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the apartment wasn’t available for our stay but the owner offered us a room in her guest house nearby and cook our breakfast. The room was lovely, it overlooks the main street but it was really quiet. We had a great sleep and breakfast was delicious.
