The room was exceptional, although note that the bathroom was up some stairs which might not suit elderly people. The food in the restaurant - both breakfast and dinner - was superb. The staff were very welcoming and efficient.

A lovely pub/guest house full of character and nicely refurbished in a great location, views west over the peaks were especially good and you can sit outside (though not eat) at tables with this view, other outside tables closer to the building are available to eat at. I really liked the ambience of the pub and dining rooms, though we actually sat outside as it was so hot. The room itself was nice inside. Dinner was good and breakfast was even better. Attentive staff on arrival.
