The George Inn, hotel in Hastings

This traditional coaching inn dates back to the 18th century, and offers an award-winning restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

The food in the restaurant was very good. Our included breakfast allowed us to choose from the menu, and we had a different, delicious breakfast each day. We ate dinner in the restaurant all 3 evenings, and found it mostly to our liking. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The sheets were spotlessly white and clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The Queen's Inn, hotel in Hastings

On the border of Kent and East Sussex, The Queen’s Inn in Hawkhurst offers luxurious rooms alongside its high-quality restaurant and bar.

Very friendly staff. Downstairs mainly given over to restaurant spaces and little space to sit in the hotel comfortably. Lovely outside space made up for that, since it was lovely weather. Large room. Big breakfast.

Vincent was a magnificent host. He was attentive, chatty and overall delightful. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms super clean with all amenities needed. We were greeted by our host with a drink and a full list of options for dinner. We also had the opportunity to chat with other guests during breakfast which added to the fun!

Pleasant guest house, very convenient for public transport being just a few yards from the train and bus station. Very comfortable spacious room. Breakfast not available but close enough to food outlets so not really an issue. Enjoyable short break in Hastings and would definitely consider staying at the Apollo again in future.

Alison the owner was friendly, welcoming and always on hand if needed without being intrusive. She gave excellent dinner recommendations. Loved the honesty bar that sold mini prosecco & small fridge in room that could be used if needed. Biscuits and fresh milk for hot drinks in the room. Delicious fresh breakfast overlooking the garden. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and crisp sheets. Immaculately clean in all areas. Free on street parking.

Very welcome arrival. My initial impression was slightly unsure…more of a guest house than a B and B and carpet always scares me 😂…..however, our room was perfect and en suite excellent. Gorgeous view of the sea and all very clean with lovely linen. Breakfast perfect and was so surprised by all the cool vibe cafes and restaurants in St Leonards. Loved dinner at Farmyard. Would definitely visit 15 Grosvenor again! Many thanks for a lovely night away x
