The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

The location was excellent for the reason of our trip to meet with friends. The evening meals were very good with a good choice on the menu, but I was very dissatisfied with the English breakfast on the first morning as It was very greasy and left most of it, the second morning I chose poached eggs but sadly these were over cooked.

Good value, nice pub with great views. Staff were all happy friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food was way above what I was expecting and of a very high standard. Breakfast was nice and lots of hot fresh coffee.

Cosy atmosphere and nice unique experience staying in a 17th century inn. The host cooked us a lovely English breakfast. Dinner was good too (steak pie).

Food was excellent. Breakfast and dinner. Lovely scenic location. Loved the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great value for the price.

Staff were lovely and welcoming friendly atmosphere , felt very welcome room was beautiful and bed was exceptionally comfortable, enjoyed breakfast and the facilities were great absolutely loved the decor. stayed for dinner which was delicious with great service, very reasonably priced and would love to stay again
Beautiful scenery. The walking followed by hot bath, good kitchen to cook dinner and range of channels to then watch a film. Spacious living area
Ordered steaks from the farm which were delivered and delicious. Very quiet and relaxing stay.
Excellent position with amazing views. A warm welcome from the proprietors and a very pleasant couple of pints of ale in the gardens enjoying the views. The room was very comfortable and clean. Dinner and breakfast were both served in the bar, which was nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. The food was excellent and plentiful with reasonable prices ensuring good value for money.
