Carvery excellent, good value for money.
Very comfortable and staff very helpful
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Loved everything. Sue was fab and a credit to the Fountains Guest House. Room was beautiful, breakfast tasty and staff couldn't do enough for you. Would go back again. X
Very good, all staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Even allowed people to wait until the England match had finished to go for dinner - unfortunately the match went to extra time so they missed this but I’m sure were kept fully updated of the score.
Couldn't fault this hotel, the staff were excellent, the food dinner and breakfast was incredible and the location was perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel if in the area, It's also perfect for visiting the RHS Garden opposite
The Inn had a very cosy welcoming atmosphere. We had a really lovely evening by the large rustic open fire, enjoying a delicious meal with excellent wine. All the staff were very friendly and professional.
We had stayed once before in order to break our journey to London. We did this yet again.
The Inn is set within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and it was a pleasure to drive there from Scotland.
Situated in a rural setting peaceful
The Inn has been kept in a natural rustic unique decorative style which adds to the charm The management maintain a good level of staff well trained and courteous.
Food menus are varied to accommodate diet requirements. Quality of food is excellent both breakfast and evening menu, food also served lunchtime.
The Innkeepers Lodge is beautifully furnished and staff were very welcoming. Our room was lovely with a wonderful shower and very clean. We booked for an evening meal where the menu had excellent choices and which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Breakfast too was really well presented and cooked although there was a lack of any cold selection ie cereals,
Kind and helpful staff. We were able to have evening meal at Innkeepers even though it was very busy nothing was too much trouble. ‘Would definitely visit again
