The breakfast was ok except the staff never asked me if I enjoyed it or even offer me any toast even though the asked other guests and the muffin with the eggs Benedict was rock hard almost inedible!

Village is very pretty with great walking for dogs. The inn is in a prime spot and felt very homely. Free accessible car park across the road which is fab. Very hospitable hosts, particularly the male host (so sorry I can’t remember names!!). He was very accommodating with breakfast as I needed to set off before 8am so I had a lovely bacon butty ready for me to take on my travels. Room was also great - big and clean!

Breakfast menu and fare was excellent. Had real problems getting our dog up and down the stairs between the bar/restaurant and bedroom and all the various fire doors. Were hoping for a quiet night in a country inn or hotel and it was so busy on the Friday night that was the complete antithesis of what we were after. The staff were very polite and helpful

Amazing food! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had dinner in the garden overlooking a field of sheep with their lambs. It was idyllic. The staff were so friendly too.
