Located less than 3 miles from the M62, nestled in the quaint village of Stainland, 1885 the Venue - Pub, Restaurant, Rooms & Function House provides bed and breakfast accommodation in West Yorkshire....

We stayed here for a concert in nearby Halifax, the accommodation was clean, the bed comfy, the shower was good and the breakfast excellent, all for less than £90. I really can't complain. The staff in the pub when booking in and serving breakfast were very polite and accommodating.

Shears Inn, hotel in Halifax

Situated in the town of Halifax, Shears Inn offers a bar and a restaurant, free WiFi access and on-site parking for guests.

The location was really tucked away, the advantage of which was that it was really quiet while still a short distance away from the town centre. It's ideal for visiting the Piece Hall. There's a a bar serving food; we didn't dine there, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced and many tables had reserved signs, so it must be good and popular. The room was really nicely decorated and had a very comfy bed. Plenty of storage available, with a wardrobe and drawers.

An old looking pub with a modern interior. The room was clean and large with a bath in the bathroom which you don't see ev everyday in Hotels today. There was a good menu and judging by the breakfast I had in the morning the food would have been very nice😁

Shibden Mill Inn is an absolutely exquisite place. This is probably one of the finest hotels, restaurant, Inn that we have come across. Truly wonderful eye for every detail around the property, it’s an interior designers paradise. Beautifully kept gardens, with the sounds of flowing waters from the stream/river across from the hotel. Our room was absolutely divine! The staff are beautifully trained, with lovely smiles and our interactions were delightful. The food….breakfast, lunches ,dinner, drinks are just Wow 🤩

Beautiful location and the Mill Inn is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant lovely. Had breakfast during my stay and the choice of cereals, pastries, fruits etc to go alongside main breakfast (lots of choice on the menu) was exceptional. Breakfast room beautifully presented. Cannot thank staff enough for such a lovely stay.

The location was beautiful, very picturesque and peaceful. Shibden Mill Inn is a rustic and charming building with beautiful stone flooring , tons of character, lots of nooks and crannies, with fascinating features at every turn. The staff were attentive, professional and made us feel very welcome . Service was of an excellent standard. We had a delicious Roast beef Dinner on the Sunday which we couldn’t fault. Everything from start to finish was perfect and we would love to return again!
