The food was exceptional - we had the 7 course taster dinner as a treat for our wedding anniversary which was fantastic. They responded very professionally to my bivalve allergy and provided a modified fish course for me. Breakfast was also very good. Our room was large, very comfortable bed, very nicely furnished.

Swan House, hotel in Beccles

Swan house is an independently-owned inn located in the market town of Beccles. Free WiFi is available.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Beccles is a nice little town with lots of eateries. In the absence of breakfast I was recommended a cafe called Posh Pigs which is a short drive out of town. Excellent breakfast.

The Brick Kilns, hotel in Norwich

Situated in Norwich and with Blickling Hall reachable within 26 km, The Brick Kilns features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

I personally enjoyed the property being slightly away from the busy city of Norwich. It's quiet and secluded, and it was perfect for us. Coming from busy London, it's lovely being tucked away from most things. It's around a 20-minute bus ride to get into the city. The staff were fantastic and I mean every single one of them. We met the owner, too, who was most gracious in showing us around and giving the history of the building. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a quiet break

The guest house is spotless and the host Anita is lovely and bubbly. She is so easy to get on with. We have stayed there twice now and will definitely be staying again. I would recommend the twin palms to everybody I know.

Great little hotel. Malcolm is a wonderful host and James an excellent chef. Amanda is fantastic on reception and in the dining room and all the other staff are great too. Food is very good indeed. The friends who joined me for dinners were very happy. It is very well organised but homely and friendly too. Thank you all.

Room with sea view was good. Breakfast very good, although the mushroom was too big- more like a steak. It dominated the plate and I could not finish it much to my disappointment. As we had eaten a substantial lunch, we only wanted a small dinner. One of us had a prawn cocktail, the other cheesecake- they were ok nut rather pricey.

This Guest house is perfectly tucked away behind the main strip in Great Yarmouth. They provided a 24 hours parking pass which was great. They also had good recommendations on dinner and local things to do in the area. We had the top family suite room which was quite spacious and had a private on-suite bathroom. Woke up to a delicious freshly cooked breakfast with all the works! The hosts are so nice and friendly, we had a great time
