Good clean room with bus station at doorstep to go wherever u want to. Very Helpful staff. Good old English style cozy bar. Big garden with an excellent view around. Should have stayed for more days as view was awesome and just walking distance to Grasmere village which we got to see more better views and bars around. Direct bus to Windermere station and Ambelside

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful with amazing views. The beer garden is perfect on a sunny day. It was a quiet period so staff were very attentive and were able to accommodate an early dinner booking. The room was small but very comfortable and had a lovely view. Very nice bathroom, great shower and loved the large, lighted mirror.
Breakfast options were good and high quality.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
I enjoyed the pool and sauna.
Food was good- great choice at breakfast and also ate dinner there both nights. Venison was a highlight. Nice atmosphere in the bar.

Great location for all our walks - loved the decor and all very clean. Staff lovely and friendly. Loved the outdoor seating at the little inn and loved having a drink in the sunshine in the beer garden at the back. Good food.
We had a great welcome from very friendly staff. They were very helpful in sorting out our bedroom and amenities. They helped direct us to dinner in the town.

A very nice historic Inn on the edge of the lovely village of Grasmere. Very friendly, helpful staff, large comfortable rooms and good food available all day. A nice bar too.
We had a great weekend at the Inn at Grasmere. It’s rustic, stylish and simply comfortable place to relax. Sauna and swimming pool were great for recovering after hiking.
