I loved the rustic feel of the Inn, felt like I went back in time! Staff were very friendly which always helps. I was also able to park for free (overnight only) in a nearby car park. Facilities were also okay for the price paid.

I knew it was a historic inn with stairs when I booked, I didn't expect outdoor concrete stairs that are exposed to the rain. The inn looks a little tired and in needed of a spruce up. Was disappointed that there was no food served, apart from breakfast, and no real ale.

Lovely historic inn so plenty of character and it was right in the centre of Gloucester and a few minutes walk from the station. The breakfast was good, not a great choice if you wanted continental but sufficient.

The New Inn was warm, welcoming and clean. It's a stunning 500yr old Tudor building bulging with history, in the very heart of Old Gloucester. Rustic and full of character! Our room was private and very quiet. It was also extremely good value for money.
