We had the complimentary breakfast in the room rather than full English which was on offer in the restaurant.

Love the pub attached to the hotel and patio. The peace and quiet made it very relaxing

Great location, lovely room, wonderful food in the restaurant, storage for our bikes, helpful staff
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Lovely surroundings, good hotel with all the facilities. Friendly staff and pet friendly too. Had a lovely dinner and the dogs enjoyed their pet menu meal.
I loved the rustic feel of the Inn, felt like I went back in time! Staff were very friendly which always helps. I was also able to park for free (overnight only) in a nearby car park. Facilities were also okay for the price paid.
I knew it was a historic inn with stairs when I booked, I didn't expect outdoor concrete stairs that are exposed to the rain.
The inn looks a little tired and in needed of a spruce up.
Was disappointed that there was no food served, apart from breakfast, and no real ale.
This was a very comfortable place to stay whilst preserving all that is great about an historic inn. The staff service and friendliness were both exceptional
Lovely historic inn so plenty of character and it was right in the centre of Gloucester and a few minutes walk from the station. The breakfast was good, not a great choice if you wanted continental but sufficient.
The New Inn was warm, welcoming and clean. It's a stunning 500yr old Tudor building bulging with history, in the very heart of Old Gloucester. Rustic and full of character! Our room was private and very quiet. It was also extremely good value for money.
