Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast was excellent with many options. Room was comfortable and quiet plus soaps were high end. Dinner options were varied and everything we tried was delicious.
Originally, we had planned to spend 3 nights at 3 different places in the highlands. It was crazy! Then we found the Binnilidh Mhor B&B and made it our hub for all our highland's days.
We really loved everything. The rooms are large and well kept. The bathrooms are huge compared to your average UK wc. Sheila and Allan are really nice people and will do their best to make your stay easy. The breakfast is made to order by Allan and was a wonderful start to our days. We will definitely stay again when we get the chance to come back.
Really nice, renovated country inn. Yes, in the "middle of nowhere" but close to the main access to Skye, and not far from Loch Ness. It's perfect for a relaxing stay away from everything else. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for a morning and evening walk. The staff is really nice and courteous. They also own the bakehouse across the street, with great coffee and treats. We stayed two nights with my wife and kids and it was trully relaxing.
We enjoyed very nice and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and dinners. The staff was friendly and very outgoing- terrific service with a smile. Convenient with gas pump on property too! Great location too!
We were very pleasantly surprised with Cluanie Inn! The scenery is breathtaking and the room was perfect. The shower was the best we had in our whole time in Scotland. Dinner and breakfast were also both delicious with great variety. Highly recommend!
The surrounding is good. We arrived quite late which the restaurant is almost close. So, the staff was so nice and suggested us to get dinner and come back for check-in later.
The food at restaurant is so great as well.
Warmth. Rustic feel very appropriate to the location. Room was lovely with scenic outlook, overlooking snow covered mountains with deer grazing in the morning. Dinner was pre-booked as knew there weren’t other nearby options but didn’t need them as the menu was great. Breakfast was very comprehensive. Great breakfast area and breakfast staff were very hospitable. Appreciated the later breakfast time.
