Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
This was a lovely little old inn and restaurant out in rural Scotland, the staff were very nice, served a nice Sunday Roast, and had cozy rooms. It was conveniently located for our needs, and was very quaint and pleasant.
We loved the charm of the Old Coaching Inn, can imagine it in its heyday with horse and carts at the door.
Lovely property recently been taken over and I’m sure the new owners are keen to make their mark.
Booked a twin room which was a decent size.
Shower was excellent which was a big plus after walking all day.
Had a meal and a few beers in the bar at night - good choice of menu at a reasonable rice.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent.
On the route of the excellent Kinross P&R to Perth bus route operated by Glenfarg Community Group which we used to get to and from the Bein Inn.
Member of staff Martin was very helpful, cheerful and so busy and efficient. He did his utmost to keep guests happy. He obviously works very hard.
The food was very tasty, both dinner and breakfast 😋
The food for dinner was very good and the breakfast was also delicious, and was even more impressive as it was a one man show for the first 45 minutes and he did fabulously. We appreciated his efforts.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Lounge was pleasant and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were greeted on our arrival and shown to our room, which was comfortable but needed updating. The parking area was convenient and local.
