Bit of luxury in a sleepy Long Melford. Stunning accommodation, lovely staff. Travelled for wedding anniversary, we got upgraded to Suite (room10)
The decor, cleanliness and comfort were all top notch. The steel bathtub in the bedroom was a talking point. Would 100% recommend.

Tastefully decorated lovely country pub (drinking only, no food) in a pretty village. A larger pub close by serves food, so no need to drive anywhere else to eat. Generous provision of cold breakfast comestibles in room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help me with preparations I had to make for the following day.
The Bull has been a coaching inn in the Essex village of Halstead for 500 years. This traditional pub offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, a lively bar and home-cooked food.

Private and spacious suite with fully functional kitchen facilities. Lovely breakfast box providing ample Continental options for our two mornings stay.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The Pheasant Inn was in a quiet location and a perfect stop over on my way to Felixstowe. The pub was warm and welcoming and my evening meal was very tasty and nicely presented and served. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Very hospitable welcome.
Lovely room. Had a very good night's sleep.
