Originally a 17th-century farmhouse, this hotel sits on the edge of the Leicestershire countryside in the historic village of Kirby Muxloe.

The decor was very well thought through, upstairs and downstairs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from the moment I arrived until I left.

    It is a lovely quaint inn overlooking fields with sleep. The bar and restaurant area are comfortable. A great selection of delicious food on the menu. The staff are all exceptional and so helpful. Grace was wonderful making sure my stay was 100%.

    Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Mark and his wife were very attentive. Very welcoming. Dinner was EXCELLENT cooked fresh. Rooms SPOTLESSLY clean, and bath rooms. Came with husband. And in the king sized room, mum and dad stayed there. Visiting Melton Mowbray. Really enjoyable weekend away! Would DEFINITELY come back again, without hesitation. In fact going to book shortly and bring my daughter for a visit.
