A lovely stay here, the food was amazing! Really recommend booking for the evening meal as the food was fantastic. The rooms are lovely with small touches that just added to it like freshly made biscuits and fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming.

I had no expectations. The greeting, the room, the breakfast, the friendliness of all staff from owner to cleaner, the evening meal on the following night, the ale, allowing my car to remain in the car park all day. Everything superb; deffo on my ‘should return’ list.

We we're made to feel at home as soon as we arrived .
Staff are very friendly and room was lovely .
There were plenty of nice shampoos ect which my partner loved but i don't have hair so i'm not so fussed about shampoo 😂.
However the small decanter of Port in the room was a nice touch 😋.
The bed was very comfy .
The breakfast was lovely as were the evening meals.
Also a great location for exploring the local area.
All in all a great stay and would definately go again 😊

Very nice property in a great location for walking. Welcoming dog friendly bar after a long walk with very friendly staff and a lovely meal in the evening. Plenty of parking and had everything we needed.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice good size room. Breakfast and dinner very nice.
Scenery and location are very nice.
Near to Chatsworth house and other places to visit
Garden is lovely and nice place to relax.
Staff super-friendly and obliging without being ‘gushing’…. Especially at breakfast… wish I could be like that at 8 am 😊
Excellent value for money
Food (dinner) is top restaurant class and not your average ‘pub-fare’
Breakfast again, excellent great value when b&b
Room delightful. Breakfast delicious apart from the vegetarian sausages which were a bit flavouless but we enjoyed the breakfast all the same. Dinner was excellent and your selection of gins was intriguing.
The food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. The bedroom had a couple of armchairs in it and made the room more usable, also you had full use of the pub itself.
Check in was done in a matter of seconds. The staff were all very very friendly and we
felt welcome from the offset. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner. There is a lovely
rustic garden at the back leading to some exceptional walks (providing you have the
stamina!) Checkout was equally as painless and swift.
